Amanda Lin Hayes

Nice to meet you!

I’m a writer and educator raised in Arlington, Virginia and based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. My work situates itself in the more-than-human world to explore embodiment, migration, intimacy, and communal care. I lecture at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in the English Department Writing Program. I’ve also taught high school poetry at Interlochen Arts Camp.

I have an M.F.A. in Poetry from the University of Michigan, where I was a Zell Fellow, and a B.A. in English with a History minor from Stanford University.
